Occupational Therapy Follow-up Sessions

Follow-up sessions might be useful and recommended to parents after the initial Occupational Therapy assessment.

This sessions can also follow-up the child after completing an occupational therapy program and the parents wants to reinsure the child is feeling comfortable working and becoming more independent. Sessions can occur in the comfort zone for you and your child.

Further therapy sessions would be recommended to address the development of certain skills/ areas of concern or to complete further assessment.

A parent consultation or school meeting can also occur as follow-up to review progress from the initial assessment and/or to discuss future service needs.
